   Subject : Media Ethics—Where is the policy of truth and unbiased reporting???????.

   Gojra incident is the 6/7 th incident of similar nature blaming the Christian community for the desecration of the Holy Quran. On the false allegation many innocent lives have been lost besides a colossal amount of property and material damage. The limit of brutality is that poor Christian people have been burnt alive. What a civilized Pakistani we are! This has shaken the entire Christian community in the country, but to my surprise that until the incident blew up out of proportion and there was no other option to hide the facts, our entire media including Express News 24/7 remained quiet and shy to take the name of Christian community. It is now apparent that the facts were distorted and the ‘made-up’ story of peaceful procession of the Ulemas is absolutely false which was run over and over again. The truth is that attack on the Christian colony in Gojra city was carried out by the well prepared masses who gathered after the announcements and calls on the loudspeakers of the mosques during the Juma prayers.

   I, as a member of the community and a true Pakistani, would like to question the ethics of Express News in showing the truth, reporting correctly and for being transparent. I would also like that media should address us as Christians/ Masih and not Isaih as we are the followers of Christ Jesus, one of whose claims is “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father (God) except me.”

   A cry full of pain and grief.

   I have a request for you. Please write the correct alphabet and subscript for Physical units. I mean, please write capital M for Mega and capital W for Watt (unit of Power).
